I had a blast and a half Saturday at Michelle and Dylan's wedding. It's always good to run into familiar faces. Last year I had the privilege of shooting Michelle's Brother's wedding. We caught up last night over a cigar and a drink at the end of the night. This week I will be working on their book so watch for the spreads right here.
This is one for you and the rest of the guys Jim. There are a bunch of cool shots of you and the guys hanging out in the basement pretending you know what cufflinks are for.
This is the first teaser for Katie & Jim. I love the light softly falling on Katie's attendant, and the excitement in Katie's face on this spread. There were lots of great shots of Jim getting ready too so watch for those.
I thing every post I have made since I started this blog has been about how great my job is. This is no exception, it was truly a treat to join Katie & Jim on their wedding day. It is rare that a wedding party is as close as these guys and gals are. With their support and the support of both their families nothing is out of reach for these two lovebirds.
I'm almost done with Heather and Jeremy's book. I thought I would take a break and post this spread. I dig this old garage door and it makes for a cool collage image.
Just thought I would post a spread for Heather and Jeremy. The book is practically putting it self together. By the end of the week you should be able to see it all.
Saturday I had the joy and privilege of documenting Heather and Jeremy's wedding. It would take more than a few tornado warnings and a power outage to bring these two lovers down. They had a romantic candle lit dinner and danced the night away. Good thing the power came on, I don't know how much more of my singing the guests could take.
The three of us were able to steal a moment alone for these shots. The wind kicked up at just the right time and sent the veil flying. It was a Kodak moment.
I forgot how beautiful the ceremony was. Great church, anytime you are surrounded by close friends and family good images are abound.
The book is coming along great and I thought it might be time for another teaser. I can't wait to finish so I can show you the whole book.
This is the first taste for you Liz and Rich. I just looked at the time and realized it's past my bed time but I'm on a roll. I love the motion blur in the close up of your frantic hands on the note from your lover. Much more to come!
I had a great time with Liz and Rich this weekend. It was like working for friends, which is the best kind of work. They got married in front of friends and family then it was off to one of my favorite wedding venues for photos and dancing.
To Liz and Rich, I love you both and wish you the best.
