Traicia & Steve

After a Sunset cruise on the Lake Friday night I was ready for wedding day. The rain broke just in time for the ceremony and the rest of the day was picture perfect. There were so many great shots from this one is was hard to choose images not to post. You can tell that Traicia and Steve have a strong connection. I believe too Steve.

A 3 hour tour.......

Normal I don't go to he rehearsal dinner but when Steve told me about the "Diamond Lady" I told him to count me in. I'm not talking about Traicia the diamond lady, I'm talking about the yacht Steve rented for the evening. Everyone was having such a great time that we stayed out on the lake for an extra hour. That and the motor staled out 100 yards off shore and we had to get a tow.

Nun's Fart

This was a great moment! Michelle had never opened a bottle of champagne before, and seeing as how she was going to spend the rest of her life in wedded bliss this was an important skill for her. Krista was going to get it started for her and then let Michelle finish the job. The cork had other plans. As soon as Krista let go of the bottle the cord began to eject it self and she grabbed it just as it was about to shoot out. In my days as a chief I worked with a manager who explained the sound of a cork coming out of a bottle as a "Nun's fart". The shot in the middle is right at that moment, you can see the gas just barley escaping the bottle.

Mariana

It's about time I worked on these images of the beautiful and talented Mariana. We worked together last month and I have been so busy with weddings that I did not have a chance to work on them until tonight. I love the diamond in the ruff theme and Mariana is several carats.

Michelle & Dylan

I had a blast and a half Saturday at Michelle and Dylan's wedding. It's always good to run into familiar faces. Last year I had the privilege of shooting Michelle's Brother's wedding. We caught up last night over a cigar and a drink at the end of the night. This week I will be working on their book so watch for the spreads right here.

I thing every post I have made since I started this blog has been about how great my job is. This is no exception, it was truly a treat to join Katie & Jim on their wedding day. It is rare that a wedding party is as close as these guys and gals are. With their support and the support of both their families nothing is out of reach for these two lovebirds.
