This weekend was my first weekend off in 13 weeks. What did I do you ask, I took pictures. I got to hang out with my friend and fellow photo nerd Gram at the Lela fashion show. What a great gig! Beautiful women strut to towards you and strike a pose.
A little rain never killed anyone, except for that one witch but I'm told that was an isolated incident. Good times were had by all at Cristina & Kurt’s wedding bash. They tied the knot then we snapped a few photos and got down to business. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. I had to take a blog break ot post a few spreads from Jen & Mike's book, I just finished it Monday. We found this great park in milwaukee, I love it. OK got to go! Our good friends and fellow photo nerds are coming for dinner tonight so I am off to the store.
For the last few years these two lovebirds haven't seen each other for more than 21 days. Nicole and Jacob have each been stationed in a different part of our great nation serving our country. Now that they are married they have the rest of their lives. I wish I could see the smile on their faces when they wake up on day 22 of married life.
A little rain never scared me away from a great location. I found this great park in Milwaukee, McGovern Park. Jen, Mike and I decided to take a stroll there after their wedding on Saturday. We walked around the pond and snapped a few photos, and then it was off to the party. I have to give a shout out and say thanks to Gina for sending her sister my way.
I met with Shannon and Brian this morning to drop off their wedding books. New jobs, a new house, and a new life as husband and wife how exciting is that. These two lovebirds are going to be the old couple that take a walks every morning holding hands. I know it's strange for a guy to get all sentimental but Brian still opens the car door for her every time. If he did that for me I'd marry him too.
162 pushpins, a whole lifetime under 162 pushpins. Tomorrow at 2pm a crowd will gather to see what’s under these clear pieces of plastic and metal. They will laugh and smile and remember the good times. The cubbies, the family vacations, and the joy of a lifetime held together with 162 pushpins.
