BLOG BREAK!
I am a blogging machine. "I'm just a blog machine, and I don't work for no body but me." Wow. See I'm like this all the time it's not just wedding day, I just hum a random tune from time to time. Anyway I am almost done with Amy and Steve's wedding book. Before I take lunch I thought I would post another spread for your viewing enjoyment.

Congratulations Amy & Steve!
I had a great time last night with Amy & Steve. We drove around and struck a pose or two as I played paparazzi. I can't wait to start working on their wedding book this week. I am sure I will take my usual blog breaks to post a spread or three. Above is one of my favorite images from the day. You can sense the passion of the coming kiss.

In my usual form I stole the camera away form my fellow artists eyes photographer Carol Grant to make this portrait of Alyse. I loved the way the the color of the flower worked with her eyes and top. You can see more of Alyse's portraits by going to www.artists-eyes.com under "your event" click "Alyse Anderson".
The world of photography is always changing. To keep up with the ever-growing art I take classes with fellow photographers. Yesterday I had the privilege to work with one of the best in the industry, Gerry of X SiGHT photography. This is one of the pictures I took using a new technique I picked up from Jerry.

BLOG BREAK!
I got to stop every once and a while to give you a taste of the latest book. I am about 3/4 done with Jane & Kinglsey's wedding book; this is one of the spreads. I really liked the window coverings at the salon Jane got ready so I used it as the background for the page. I am always walking around looking for textures like that to use. Sometimes I see people whispering, "Is he taking a picture of the wall paper?". I will post more spreads when the book is complete.

I bet you have been wondering all this time, what dose a wedding photographer do for fun. You see entry after entry of my work, but what do I do for play. I go to a wedding and shoot whit other photographers! I had a blast with my friend and fellow photographer Elizabeth. It's nice to see how some one else works, and it gave me the chance to try things I never would at one of my weddings.

I just finished going through Erin & Matt's images from last weekend. I can't wait to get started on their wedding book today. I had a great time getting to know the two of them and am sure they will lead a long happy life together. Right before the wedding Erin told the story of their first date, in my book any story with a bubble gum cigarette is a good one. You can register to see images of Erin telling this story and much more by clicking on "Erin & Matt" in the your event section of my web site.
