Beautifully Unique.

The last word you could use to describe Megan & Jeb's wedding is "traditional". I would go with "thoughtful", you can tell that a lot of effort was given to each detail. From the hair pieces Megan made to the color of the guys shoe laces. All of the brides maids got great flasks, each with a personal message, as a gift.

I also got to see my friends Andrea & Jerrod and Sarah & John hit the dance floor. They can both expect to see wild dance floor images in their e-mail boxes soon.

A Three Hour Tour.

I say this more and more but life as a photographer is tough. Always relaxing and hanging out on the lake with friends. I don't know how much longer I can take this.

For Fun!

Mary & Joel's Wedding in 2 min. from Carl Stevens on Vimeo.

You got to have a little fun every now and then. It reminds me why I love what I do so much.

Here she comes.

What a great idea to have Grace up front with Adam.

Giving Black & White a Chance

I love the light gently brushing across Amy and Grace in the Black & White spread. I don't take the color out of many of my images but after talking to friend and fellow photographer Sarah Spottswood I might start. I'll give it a try Sarah.

Melts in your mouth not on your keyboard.

It's after midnight and I still working. Good thing my job rock's or this would be a bad day.

On a side note it is my tradition to eat or drink the wedding favor I got at dinner. More people should give M&M's, they give me the energy to stay up late working on photos. This might also explain why it took so long to do Jen & Mike's book. I ate the drink cozy and got ill.

He got one!

They really did catch a fish that morning but I missed it. I was up by the house with Adam and his parents when we heard "WOOOO GOT ONE BABY!". You have no idea how close I was to hoping the fence and running down to the river.

Carly & Mike

These two high school made it official yesterday downtown milwaukee. Its hard not to be inspired by a church like this one. I want to wish these two all the best for many years to come.

Checkers Anyone?

I dig the shot of the guys against the checker wall. Nick is standing there like "King Me!"

2am Still Workin'

Almost done, just a few more spreads and it will be ready for Sarah & Nick to check out. I had to post one more time just to prove what a labor of love these books are. It's 2:30am and I am just finishing work for the day.

Here comes the bride.

Great church. I love the expression on Sarah's mother, you can see how proud she is of her little girl. There were beautiful images of the bride coming down the isle between these two spreads but I thought I would save those for the bride and grooms eyes to see first.

Bacardi Anyone?

Nick got a great flask form his brother the morning of the wedding. I love little moments like that and check out this mirror! They don't make em' like that any more.

Late Night.

Just a few more last minute spreads before I try to get some sleep. I was down stairs working and realized its after midnight. One post for the night. I love the image of Sarah's mom adjusting Her necklace.

Book Day.

Time to work on Sarah and Nick's book today. Just one quick post before I leave the studio for a bit.

Rain......HA

This couple stopped the rain. How many people do you know who can do that. Mary and Joel left the church for the first time as husband and wife and were greeted by the sun. Just in time for pictures at the coolest ice cream shop ever.

On a side note Mary must be a blog reader because after our quest to find "the bronze fonze" she made sure to mention not to write anything corny about it on my blog. Like for example give it a title like "Happy Days Are Here Again" or "AAAAAAEEEEEEE". I left the image out just so I wasn't temped.

Fishin' for love.

OK so its a corny title, sorry. Amy and Adam were so much fun, I got to fish in the morning and dance all night. In between I watched the two of them jump over the broom stick with their daughter Grace. It was a perfect day and the beginning of many more just like it for the three of them.

Katie & Chris

This morning I got a tour of the museum in west bend from Katie & Chris. Is it ironic that we made images of a couple about the spend their future together in a place full of things from the past.........I hate irony. I first met Katie and Chris two years ago at Dana & Colin's wedding and now it's their turn to jump over the broom stick.

Home Town Wedding

This weekend was my first wedding back in my home town of Appleton since the first wedding I ever shot a bit over 5 years ago. I had so much fun with Sarah & Nick and the whole wedding party all day. They really have a good group of friends, their support will make Sarah & Nick's bond even stronger.

Congratulations guys!
